Amaya is an insightful, unique and culturally-embodied light worker. I worked with Amaya in the winter of 2022 and learned so much from her teachings. She brought me closer to myself and my culture and empowered me to make more spiritual connections between my ancestors and my indigenous self. It led me to better understanding and clarity about who I am and how I want to walk in the world. This was so invaluable to my wellbeing and my career and I would recommend Amaya as a spiritual practitioner and guide.

Sheryll shares her experience in the Restoring Our Path to Wholeness workshop co-facilitated by Amaya Tala and Jasmine Hunt.

For me, my condition prior to this session or class, I was really on a big question mark. What am I gonna do and how am I gonna find my inner self and my wholeness in order to really heal past minor or major traumas in life. And then during the session, I was getting these, somehow, answers. You guys were giving us a technique like the storytelling, how the indigenous people told stories. It was a part of their teaching and I'm sure learning from others, too, as we tell our stories. That one part during the session definitely did spoke to me how that would some kind of a way to find my wholeness. Right now, post-session, really, I'm really amazed. I feel great physically, mentally, and emotionally, too, essentially. I think it helped me with. . This would a good guidance for me, I would say.

Prior to starting these sessions, just feeling pulled in a lot of different directions and depleted. I had a sensory feeling of also being lost or unsure of myself. And then throughout our time together, one of the things that I really noticed was that there were emotions and traumas that were unlocked or that I came to realize I needed to process and work through. I also found that my ability to ground myself grew, or at least I remembered things that I could do that I had kind of, just because I was getting so busy with things, and feeling pulled in all those directions, I was forgetting the things that I could do to ground myself. So I found that this really helped me remember those things and gave me a better understanding of how to heal myself so with that came a feeling of empowerment. And then reflecting today at the, sort of, end of our times together, just greater self-awareness, feeling more able to trust intuition and to let go of needing to control where things go and then a feeling of wholeness, being held, and uplifted.

I definitely felt an acceleration of that spiritual and intuitive growth and along with an expanded curiosity and willing to try new things and look at things in a different perspective. I think now just reflecting on this  reinforced remembering and appreciation of ancestral ways and that it is okay or even preferred to walk an unhurried path and that reinforces the sense of self-worth in this current world that's constantly trying to tell us that we are not enough. So it feels very empowering. . . it feels very nurturing this space you've created and so I'm very grateful!

Holly on How Amaya (Nina) Inspired her to Believe in Herself! 🌿

Testimonial Elements 2_edited.png

So when me and Nina (Amaya) first started the organization, we both came from two different worlds. She saw something in me and she wanted me to join her in her journey which I really appreciated because I felt important. I had stopped doing things that I love like dressing up and dancing and art but when someone believes in you like that, you feel like you can do anything so I'm bustin' out! I'm busting out!

Thank you for sharing your courage with me tonight. The workshop surprised me - what I began creating was not where I ended up. The art taught me, my body taught me, and you also taught me. By simply being here and showing up, you gave me space to grow. Your song almost made me cry; it was so beautiful.

Nice session that helped me reflect on/connect back to the negative feelings - I spend so long working with the lens of productive action + improving the world, it was nice to get in touch with my imbalance. I don’t think I’m able to let go of it all in one session, or that anger is even necessarily a bad/imbalanced emotion, but it was interesting to reframe my other negative emotions like helplessness in the context of healing them. 🙂

Participants of the nature art workshop share their experience:

This was a wonderful experience. In the beginning, I felt excited and somewhat nervous, and in the middle, especially during the meditation session, I felt immersed and transformed, waking up my inner self and noticing the energy I was carrying. At the end, I felt somewhat healed, transferring my new energy onto the rock I was painting with each stroke.

Amaya has a gift for facilitation and for going deeper into the processes that bring forth greater understanding of the human experience.  By sharing her gifts, she helps me to more fully illuminate my own gifts.  With Amaya, using a blend of the ancient ways and the modern technology is a seamless experience and I very much honor and appreciate the work we have done together.  As we enter into a truly challenging time for humanity it is luminaries such as Amaya that will be able to light the way to improved interactions within the human family.  Thanks for your friendship and insights Amaya!

I was lacking clarity on the path towards reaching the goal. I was constantly thinking on how to achieve the goal, exploring them one by one until I find something that suits the need. There was also doubts on the path to move forward when I find one.

The coaching process with Amaya was easy and feels natural as the conversation started. We started exploring ways that I can take to achieve a goal. She also reinforces my ideas while striking a balance on providing constructive criticism.

I feel more confident and sure on the strategies moving forward. I was also able to figure out what were my immediate priorities.

About a personal tarot reading with Amaya Tala:

And talagang lalo ako nagulat! (I was really more shocked!) As if na kilala ako nung mga cards... (As if the cards really know me!) Everything you've said is so ME. And yes, everything you and your cards said are noteworthy. It was very refreshing, uplifting! I felt contentment crept upon me. There's life for me after all. I just need to do what I have to do.

Greetings from Turkey! I really liked this video! Please continue to make more of these I'm a lightworker and agree with what you just said. I'm a teacher at a big school, so I'm constantly surrounded by students and teachers. At times, I feel my energy needs cleansing as I'm an empath and absorb people's energies. Whenever I feel "not myself", I try to do some energy work and feel so much better afterwards. What type of techniques do you use to clear your energy field? That could make a great video too.

Hi Amaya,  your words resonate with me. For so many years I thought it was my purpose to save people. But I have learned that trying to save someone is actually interfering with what their soul is choosing to experience. It is also, unfortunately,  a way of creating karma for ourselves without realizing it because each person should be able to exercise their free will. So as I stepped back and really thought about it I realized that my purpose is not to try to "save"...but to give love and support to the people who are struggling without getting involved.  As Lightworkers we are here to " bring light". That is our only job. We have the ability to send love and light without being present.

DJ & Sound Healer

It’s not every day you get to have lunch with a shaman and a life healer/coach. The universe really brings people into your lives with such divine timing.

Mamerto “Lagitan” Tindongan is from the Ifugao tribe in the Northern Philippines. He is an 8th generation Mumbaki (shaman/healer). He was initiated into the Baki Ifugao role by his father in 2011, though he grew up with the tradition since childhood. Baki is Ifugao’s spirituality, which is a way of relating with nature spirits, deities, and ancestors.

Amaya Tala is also healer and certified life coach who is passionate about addressing the individual, relational, societal, and environmental root aspects of societal change, renewal, and humaneness. She co-facilitates and co-organizes sacred circles for self-healing, ancestral connection, land immersion, and universal alignment, rhythm, and flow.

Many around me don’t know the personal battles I’ve been fighting this last year. When we say we want to break intergenerational trauma, we often don’t realize the road ahead can be so heavy, lonely, and painful.

In true Filipino spirit, we originally had plans to go eat. With conversation, it lead to a quick excursion to Griffith Park, where both Lagitan and Amaya held space for me in ceremony. I am eternally grateful for the universe continuing to guide me and bring people into my path who align with my spirit.

Maraming Salamat Mamerto “Lagitan” and Amaya Tala!
